10 Step Tile Cleaning Experience
Step 1: Pre-test
Your floor will be pre-tested to determine what type of tile it is. Step 2: Pre-inspection
Your floor will be inspected for cracked tiles, missing grout, and any other damage. These conditions will be brought to your attention before we begin cleaning. Step 3: Spotting
Special solutions will be used to break down tough spots such as gum or rust. Step 4: Pre-condition
A solution designed especially for your tile and grout will be generously applied to the floor. This cleaning agent penetrates the grout breaking down dirt, grease, cooking oils, and spills. Step 5: Soil Agitation
A special brush will be used to aid the pre-conditioner in loosening the imbedded soil in the grout lines. Step 5: Hot water rinse
Our high powered truck-mounted equipment will thoroughly rinse the floor, whisking away the loosened dirt and grime. Step 7: Edge Detailing
Extra Attention will be given to tight areas and along baseboards with specialty tools to give you a thoroughly cleaned floor. Step 8: Speed Drying
High velocity air movers are used immediately after cleaning to promote fast drying. Step 9: Apply Professional Grout Sealer
Un-sealed grout is very porous and easily stained. Be sure to have us seal your grout to prevent unsightly staining and costly repairs. Step 10: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.
If your grout wasn't sealed when it was new, it is a very good idea for you to have us seal it after cleaning. Beware of the cheap sealers that are sold in hardware stores as these water based sealers DO NOT protect your tile very well. YOU MUST NEVER SEAL GROUT WITHOUT THOROUGHLY CLEANING IT FIRST. Doing this will seal in any dirt that is in the grout.
